Baskerville House participates in Climate Change Festival
24th June 2008
Baskerville House recently hosted 'Birmingham present and future', a multimedia exhibition that formed part of a number of attractions at Birmingham's Climate Change Festival.
Organised by Birmingham City Council and CABE, The Climate Change Festival took place throughout the city from 31 May to 8 June 2008. The exhibition at Baskerville House showcased a number of large-scale architectural models and visual presentations that demonstrated current development in the city, as well as a look at the vision for the future.
Throughout the festival, the region's community were invited to learn more about doing their bit in the fight against climate change. The full programme of events, exhibitions and ideas resulted in 1,500 people signing a pledge to reduce their own carbon footprint by 100kg over the next 12 months.
